On 9th February 2012 we celebrated the launch of Sr. Ann McGovern’s CD the title of which is ‘Domine faciem tuam requiram’, ‘Your face O Lord I seek’.  This has led Ann to thinking more of what this project has meant for others. While she admits that she was chuffed at being asked to undertake the putting together of this CD it has changed her thinking in relation to her singing.  She feels proud as those who have heard it have said that it has helped them, describing it as prayerful and meditative.

It was a joy to share with Ann in acknowledging her gift. The CD was launched by Proinnsias Ó Duinn who applauded all aspects of the production of such an accomplishment. Tribute was paid to Ian Callanan, Patricia Feighery, Anne Cullen (pianist) and the choral group, Una Curran, Noelle Murray and Michelle Smith.
