November: Remember the Living Dead- S.Africa |
|
|
|
|
We remember our dead, our "living dead" for they are part of our lives.
Perhaps the veil which hides them from us is most transparent at
sunset, or sunrise.

| September is the seventh month from March, which was, until the Romans
reformed the calendar, the month with which the year began. In the
northern hemisphere it is the month when we experience the fruit of
Springtime labour - Keats described the "Season of mists and mellow
fruitfulness..." In our fields and gardens we receive Nature's bounty,
the gift of God's dazzling creativity. It is the time when we stand at
the cusp between the fulfilment of summer and the slow decline into
winter. |
