from St Paulus Convent in Pretoria. Sister Margaret Wall arrived from St Dominic’s Priory, Port Elizabeth on Monday 14 January.

On Tuesday, 15 January, Sister Kathy Gaylor, our region prioress, met with the community.    Arrangements were made for a meeting with a facilitator to plan how we wanted to be as a formation community.

Fr Christopher Clohessy celebrated the opening Mass on Friday, 18 January at 17h00.  Many of the sisters from our local Dominican Communities were present.  Sister Francis Krige's letter of appointment as Formator was read during the Mass. 

A celebratory supper was enjoyed by all during which there was much reminiscing about novitiate days.

Sister Renee, a novice, joined the community on 5 February having spent several months doing apostolic work in Uitenhage  where she was part of the community in Marymount.  Her formal noviciate year began on 1 March and was marked by a special Evening Prayer the previous day.
