Welcome - Dates and Venue

Welcome to the Dominican Forum in preparation for the Congregational Chapter which takes place in the Retreat Centre, Emmaus, Swords, Co. Dublin from 5 - 16th April, 2010.  We look forward to many of you visiting this forum and enjoying it as a space for conversation and preparation for the Chapter. 

We invite you to spend time with the logo and the Gospel text John 20: 15-18.   Here we find Mary Magdalene weeping outside the tomb. "Woman, why are  weeping?” finds a resonance with us.  It taps into our personal life and family life.  It has its echo in the life of the Church, Congregation, Society and our Earth.  But thank God we are a Resurrection people, we are called to look beyond the tomb and find Christ our Light.

Bienvenidas al foro en preparación para El Capitulo Congregacional que tomará lugar en La Casa de Retiro de Swords, Dublin, Irlanda, desde el 5 a 16 de abril 2010.
Esperamos verles y encontrarles visitando el foro, disfrutándolo como un lugar de encuentro, de conversación y de reflexión en preparación para el Capitulo. Les invitamos a contemplar el logo y el texto de Juan 20: 15-18.
Aquí vemos a María Magdalena llorando frente del sepulcro. La pregunta, ¿María porque llores? tiene eco en cada una de nosotras, en nuestra vida personal, en la Iglesia, en la Congregación y en la sociedad y en nuestra planeta. Es por la gracia de Dios, somos gente de Resurrección, llamadas a mirar más allá del sepulcro y así seguir encontrando a Cristo,Luz del mundo.
