The Dominican sisters in Ireland are based in a number of communities in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Our ministries include schools, colleges and other third level institutes, parish work, adult education, care for the sick and elderly, being on boards in the field of formal education, chaplaincy work and working the area of ecology.
Mission and presence within community is as important as mission and presence without. Mission is in the challenge of life presenting itself, here and now.
