Dominican Associates Meeting
On Saturday, October 10th, a day for our interested associates occurred in An Tairseach in Co. Wickow. It began at 11 a.m. with a cuppa followed by prayer together.
The main part of the day consisted of input from Sr Colette Kane on Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si. All brought their own lunch and in the afternoon we talked about how we might move further on and broaden out. In general it was agreed to look into studying ‘Dominican Spirituality’, all groups together and doing so before Christmas. There were people from the groups in Muckross, Dun Laoghaire, Ashington Avenue. Unfortunately those in Ballyfermot were unable to attend. There were a total of 11 interested associates. All enjoyed the day and are grateful for a space in which they can share their faith in the Dominican setting.
