Historic and landmark date in the life of Convento Do Nossa Senhora Do Bom Sucesso
The 14th January 2015 was a historic and landmark date in the life of Convento Do Nossa Senhora Do Bom Sucesso and in the life of the Congregation.
On that day we celebrated the final and accepted statutes of the Fundacao set up in 1993 to legalise the ministries carried on by the sisters.
A new Administration Council was inaugurated under the presidency of Senhor Doctor Joao Sales Luis and the members of the council: Senhor William Cunningham, Sister Brighde Vallely, Doctora Aurora Gomes, Doctora Maria Amado, Senhor Doctor Lourenco da Cunha and Doctor Senhor Luis de Alvito. They will take over the administration and the furthering of the vision and ethos of the Dominican sisters enshrined in the statutes of the Fundacao.
