Sisters make use of Social Media to connect through prayer and reflection

Posted By : Dominican Sisters, Cabra
Comments : Off

Recently a group of our sisters connected with each other in Ireland, Argentina and South Africa to pray and reflect via social media.

Miriam, Liz, Colette, Edel, Sabine and Eileen from the Mission Area of Ireland shared on the Sunday Gospel with Noemi, Patricia, Vicky and Susie from the Mission Area of Argentina, and Columbia from the Mission Area South Africa

Each of us shared how we as members of the Congregation of Dominican Sisters, Cabra, through our lives of Prayer, Community, Study and Mission can take up the challenge of the Gospel and the Call of Pope Francis to

“Let your light so shine – says Jesus- that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in Heaven”.  However, for this ‘shakeup’ to happen.  Salt must not lose its taste and light must not be hidden”

(Taken from Pope Francis Homily at the Closing Mass for the Jubilee of the Order of Preachers 21st Jan 2017 Rome)
