Our Emerging Story, the Promise and the Hope: A Day of Reflection with Sharon Zayac OP, 14 July 2018.
We are in the midst of a cosmic shift in understanding who we are as persons, as people of faith, as a human species.What is this newly emerging consciousness? What does it teach us about who we are, how we are related to the whole, and how we talk about God?Using the Cosmic Story as a context, Sharon will help us to explore and reflect upon its deeper meaning and in doing so, help us find inspiration and hope.

About Sharon Zayac OP:
Sharon Zayac, OP, a Dominican from Springfield, IL, has degrees in secondary education, hospital administration and Earth Literacy.
Sharon is the Director of Jubilee Farm, the Congregation’s 164 acre centre for ecology and spirituality. Here they raise llamas and alpacas, grow chemical-free fruit and vegetables, and offer walking trails, a labyrinth and a retreat house to the public.
The goal of their unique ministry is to help people understand their relationship with the earth and learn how to live greener lives.
Her book Earth Spirituality: In the Catholic and Dominican Traditions, published in 2003 by Sor Juana Press, was the first in the series Dominican Women on Earth.
