Stations of the Cross in Pamphili Park in Rome, 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Irish Time, April 4, 2020.
This will be a virtual journey in the Spirit of Laudato Si. We will be stopping at various nature sights and reflecting on the message from Laudato Si. The area of the park also has a very moving pathway with the signs of women who have made various contributions to make the world a better place. In this park we truly have the opportunity to explore the meaning of our Sister, Mother Earth. In the opening paragraph of the encyclical Laudato Si’. Pope Francis “reminds us that our common home is like a sister with whom we share our life and a beautiful mother who opens her arms to embrace us. “ Also, we call to mind the prayer of St. Francis, “Praise be to you, my Lord, through our Sister, Mother Earth, who sustains and governs us, and who produces various fruit with colored flowers and herbs”.
