An Tairseach Organic Farm & Ecology Centre September Newsletter

Dear Friend of An Tairseach,

Summer has passed, our schools have re-opened and autumn has firmly announced it’s arrival as we note the changing of the seasons. September is now upon us, and with it, signals both an ending and beginning. We are at a threshold. An Tairseach means “threshold” in Irish and was chosen as the name for our ecological project as a reflection of being “in-between” understandings of our place in the world.

But just as September brings the start of another school year, it also offers the rest of us the sense of a new beginning. We welcomed the participants to our 10 week Autumn Sabbatical course on Sunday, many of whom travelled from far and wide across the globe to join us.

We have an extensive range of short courses, covering a wide variety of topics, on offer to the general public over the coming weeks which run through out our Sabbatical programme.
