This year’s theme for the season of creation gives us a beautiful invitation: Listen to the Voice of Creation

It takes attention to listen and to hear.

A Daily Practice:   Perhaps we could remove the earphones and focus on the sounds around us. Let our minds be still and listen. What might we hear?

The songs of the birds, the wind in the trees, the splatter of rain, the sounds of joy and praise, the sounds of pain? We also might begin to notice the absent sounds, the sounds that have been stilled by our way of living. Let us practice listening during this season of creation.
